The ‘Daily Front Row’ held its sixth annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Sunday, Apr. 10, at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, A Four Seasons Hotel, in Beverly Hills, California. Hosted by Derek Blasberg, the event honored Brandon Maxwell as Designer of the Year. The ‘Project Runway’ judge was also announced as a creative director at Walmart, and The Daily Front Row awards celebrated his accomplishments, including his first collection for the retail giant.
Russell James was the recipient of the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award. Stylist Elizabeth Stewart was recognized with the Fashion Visionary award. Barbie – the doll – was named the year’s Fashion Influencer, while Paris Hilton was awarded the Fashion Entrepreneur honor. Etienne Ortega was named the Makeup Artist of the Year, while Maeve Reilly walked away with the Style Curator Ward. Bryce Scarlett was named Hair Artist of the Year, and Adam Ballheim was Music Stylist of the Year.
